Why OTbase?

Factory automation is getting ever more complex. Call it the Digital Transition, IT/OT Convergence, or IoT. No matter what you call it, it just keeps growing and more intertwined. Until not even the most seasoned control engineer exactly understands the nature of all those process networks. As a result, any of the following become a challenge: Assuring appropriate cyber security. Business continuity planning. Preventive maintenance. Planning new system extensions.

The remedy is well known: You got to have a comprehensive and accurate OT asset inventory. While everybody agrees on this, such a thing that acts as a map in the digital jungle of typical OT infrastructures is as rare in real life as albino elephants.

OTbase changes this, by making OT asset inventories easier than ever before. There are three distinct product offerings that cater to different buyers.

OTbase Snapshot

On-demand OT asset inventory

OTbase Snapshot is a self-service portal where you can transform your automatic asset discovery results as created using OTbase Discovery into an Excel spreadsheet. This spreadsheet is unlike anything else you have seen before. It lists your OT assets with network addresses, hostname, serial numbers, rack modules, known vulnerabilities, the works. OTbase Snapshot is designed for users who want to get a snapshot record of their OT assets, rather than deploy a full-scale OT asset management product.
